Subject: RE: Festival: Lunenburg Folk Harbour 2003 From: harvey andrews Date: 12 Aug 03 - 06:38 PM I played Lunenburg twice and thought it the best festival I've ever played. Then the committee changed....Very happy memories of both the place, the people and the music...but not the mosquitos..I'm still wearing the T shirts! |

Subject: RE: Festival: Lunenburg Folk Harbour 2003 From: black walnut Date: 12 Aug 03 - 03:42 PM The night concerts were all under a tent - and the audience was full of good listeners and singers. I think the tent made us feel more like a backup choir (accompanied by a talented foghorn) rather than feeling like a audience of spectators. Quite special. Maybe it was the way the tent was sheltering us all from the rain the the fog.... A double rainbow one night - when a momentary glimpse of setting sunlight hit the fogclouds. Also quite special! ~b.w. |

Subject: Festival: Lunenburg Folk Harbour 2003 From: black walnut Date: 12 Aug 03 - 10:58 AM Were there any other Mudcatters at The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival 2003? Wasn't it wonderful? My high point was the blues workshop at the Opera House, Rick Fines hosting. Magic from beginning to end. ~b.w. |
