John Creber has e-mailed today to say he's had a communication from the Red Lion which has caused him to change the date to 15th Sept.

There has been a Chalgrove festival for several years, so I hope the Red Lion sessions will be well supported.

Kitty

I would just like to make it clear that this is not a thread that has been jumped by another club with a similar name.

Best of luck. Good to see new clubs opening. Is this the start of the third folk revival?

The first meeting of the new Chalgrove Folk Club will be on Monday 22nd September at 8pm in the Red Lion Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. This is a completely new event for the folks there as there has not been a club in the village for a number of years. The first meeting will be a singers night so bring your instrument and be prepared to play or sing.

For more info contact John Creber at 01865 890363
