Subject: RE: Tune Req: Portsmouth Synfonia recording From: codeel Date: 20 Sep 03 - 11:20 PM I arrived at this site while searching for Homer & Jethro lyrics. I also stumbled into a site that had many old classic country songs available for download. I forgot to hit my favorite key to kept this site on my computer. Can any of you tell what that site is. Subject: Tune Req: Portsmouth Synfonia recording From: alison Date: 17 Sep 03 - 07:41 PM someone mentioned the Portsmouth synfonia in another thread... which reminded me..... remember back in the 80's there were a heap of clap-along medley CDs by a group called "Stars on 45"?.... well the Portsmouth synfonia did one of their own... and in their usual style the melodies, tuning, and rhythm were all over the place... it was brilliant just wondering if anyone happens to have a copy? slainte alison |
