This was the first time in 4 years we have not been, because of the clash with the Goths and other things. Like everyone else I thought it would have been on at Captain Cooks Birthday 26th October but that was another world music festival in Whitby.

Part of the problem Muppet was that the event was shown as the weekend before in all the tourist info and noone seemed very sure what was happening!

Went to the shanty events at Whitby at the weekend, mingled in with the Goths (was also Goth week) I was disapointed with it.Not very well attended, Did anyone else go, what did they think.
