Subject: RE: Lyr Req: My Katrina From: Jim Dixon Date: 21 Nov 03 - 08:20 AM Actually, there are several songs called KATRINA, or variations thereof, for example, OH KATRINA, KATRINA AND PAUL, SONG FOR KATRINA, etc. Then there are spelling variations: KATARINA, KATERINA, CATRINA, etc. To see a list, go to AMG - All Music Guide, type KATRINA into the search box, click "songs" and then "go." Do you suppose it's the one by the band Reinforce, on their album, "Happy Teenagers Do Not Paint Their Rooms Black"? I listened to a sound sample but I couldn't understand the words. *g* |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: My Katrina From: The Shambles Date: 20 Nov 03 - 02:12 AM There is/was of course a Canadian pop group called Katrina And The Waves but I don't know of any songs with Katrina in the title. However, as this is my wife's name I would be interested to find one. |

Subject: Lyr Req: My Katrina From: Mark Dowding Date: 19 Nov 03 - 09:04 PM Someone's asked me if I can help track a song down for him and I immediately thought of you lot! He thinks it's called 'Katrina' or 'My Katrina', and includes the line, 'As we walked by the shore, hand in hand like before, my poor heart was sore for Katrina' Anybody know the song and if a recording of it is available please? Thanks for any help you can give. Cheers Mark |
