What if the Hokey Cokey realy IS what it is all about...?

And the alphabet song I learnt in late 1950's England ain't the same as Twinke Twinkle! They were not very impressed when I hummed it and told them I had forgotten the words whatever the tune anyway;-)

Cheers

If a flute player is a flautist, why isn't a lute player a lautist?

Or why isn't a flute player a flutenist?

Some people do care about Jimmy. It's only the singer of the song who doesn't. The writer of the song actually cared very deeply and sincerely.

Some schools do operate as juvenile detention centres) at least according to some of my school teacher friends).

My grandfather had a lot of floor space available, so it didn't matter.

Well, would you like to sound British? It's far more realistic to sound regional English, or Welsh, or Scots, etc ...

Because they appeal to the same intellectual level, and those people can only deal with a restricted number of tunes.

I have known bands that might have been better off not live ...

For the same reason that a misogynist doesn't go around misogyning.

Playing music on a regular basis,a few questions spring to mind, most seem unanswerable but it's time we folkys aired our ponders!

If Jimmy cracked corn and nobody cared, why the f**k did they write a song about it?

If little Tim Maguire was a convicted arsonist by the time he started school, why was he not put into a juvenile detention centre?

If "My grandfathers clock was too big for the shelf" why the hell didn't he buy a clock that wasn't?

Why do British people never sound British when they sing?

Why is the alphabet song and twinkle twinkle little star the same tune?

Why do Pubs & Bars advertise live bands, is there any other kind??

Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist, but a person who drives a race car not called a racist?

Does this start the ball rolling with anyone and there unsung frustation???????????????????
