Colin Ross gets his supply of Arundo Donax cane for Northumbrian Small Pipes reeds from Spain I think, but this supplier sounds French to me.

Any idea of prices?

has Reed Cane 1 year old specificaly for Uilean Pipes , and harder 3 year old Cane for orchestral winds.
I got a Kilo of the 1 year for £25 or so in the cheapest form un-sized inter-nodel bits.
Thats about 40 bits (should keep me buisy for a bit).
