Subject: RE: Review: Grove Folk Club's New Web Site From: George Papavgeris Date: 22 Feb 04 - 08:43 AM Sexy!!! I agree with Cittern however, the midi does nothing for me and sounds like musac or background music from early computer games. Also - the fun pictures are fun - the first time round. After that they distract a little, but hey, that's just my taste. Well done, and power to the club |

Subject: RE: Review: Grove Folk Club's New Web Site From: Geoff the Duck Date: 22 Feb 04 - 08:41 AM I turned off the website miutes ago, but the tune is still playing. Oh - it just stopped. Just a comment made on other threads about websites, that sometimes we don't want a tune automatically playing when we visit a page. Quack! GtD. |

Only Burland couldnt come and Alex is dead. All the best. When you booking George Papavgeris then? |

Subject: Review: Grove Folk Club's New Web Site From: Tyke Date: 21 Feb 04 - 07:13 AM Just to let you know that the Grove Folk Club est. 1963 in Leeds has launched a New Web Site. It's has plenty of details on how to get to the Grove and what's on! In fact the wot's on pages will link to an even newer Grove Folk Club Site which Sam can update from work that gives further details of the Grove Fantastic Guest List. Hope you all enjoy it positive and helpful comments that will help to promote Live Music are welcome. The Grove is one of the few Clubs that has an entertainment Licence that has allowed live Music to be played at this venue for many years. Please help and give the Grove and the Grove Famous Folk Club you support. PS. Don't miss Geoff Woods Birthday Bash he is allegedly the oldest folk Club Organiser in the world and he is 84 years old in March. Happy Birthday Geoff |
