Subject: RE: A Great Archive of Acoustic Performances From: dwditty Date: 02 Mar 04 - 07:05 AM Steve, thanks for the heads up on this. I find it easiest to learn new songs by watching other performers. I saw Guy Davis a week or so ago and was taken with his version of Fred McDowell's 61 Highway. Sure enough, he does it on one of the videos, so I was able to watch it and learn it. I love the diversity of shows....blues to folk to Celtic to bluegrass and lots of others. I did as Susan said and downloaded a few of my favorites. I will be passing this site on to lots of others. Thanks again. DW |

Subject: A Great Archive of Acoutic Performances From: GUEST,Steve Latimer Date: 26 Feb 04 - 04:30 PM I posted this site in the Happy Birthday Ralph Stanley thread, but it is an awesome archive of live acoustic performances from several different genres. Most of them are videos of complete Woodsongs shows, some are only audio, but it is well worth checking out. Woodsongs Showlist |
