Thanks for the nice comments. Was a goodly night all round. R & WR 's singing was brill ( I think you may be re-employed as my harmony singer Teg was too thin !!!). It will be one of many at Hillsboro as the new owners were very pleased. My plan is the first Sunday of each month although that won't work for may as Moor and Coast and Holmfirth take care of first two sundays, so I may do the third sunday just for May. Perhaps we may do a bit of furniture arranging to get more folks in.

Got down to the Hillsborough Hotel this evening & had the pleasure of hearing MC Fat & friends sing & play; also had the pleasure of meeting R&WR for the first time; what a lovely voice she has! (And MC Fat is no' bad either!) Had the pleasure of meeting *MC Fat* for the first time only the day before at the Barnsley Folk Festival, where he ran a goodly part of the afternoon sing.

Very kind of you to invite me up for a song, MC Fat -- quite a surprise, but a pleasant one! Looking forward to seeing you again, now I know who you are.

Dunno Dave I know they are keen on live music and I'm quite chuffed to be asked. They (the new owners) are coming to terms with some of the actions of previous owner e.g. Conservatory/Extension not being licensed !!! I personally wouldn't want to do more than a once a month session. If they ask my advice I'd suggest Blues one wek, Jazz one week, Folk one week, Country one week but I'd be happy to continue as it is one of my favourite watering holes.
