The Gospel Messengers will be doing their 7th Anniversary concert in Greenwich, Connecticut, a 45 minute train ride from New York City.. but it's on Sunday, May 2nd... a couple of weeks before you get here..

If you are hear by then, I am playing at an event for Lynne Stewart at the Quaker Meeting House in Manhattan, 15th and Rutherford Place, on May 6, in the evening, and I will be playing with the whole band at the Lower East Side festival one of the weekend evenings latter in May. I hope to fly to New York in May to attend a "Funky Ceili" weekend in the Catskills (14th to the 16th.) I was wondering if anyone knows of any other music events on in that area around that time?
