We made an album for him and he has never paid us a penny. He will also have collected lots of royalties for the hundreds of radio plays it has had and passed nothing on. I should have sued him, but was so busy working that I never seemed to get the time. Instead I took a load of product and never paid for it. I am stating facts here annd if anyone at Lismor want to speak to me, they are very welcome

I never knew this about them. I knew Ronnie only a bit--met him at Folk Alliance meetings and the like, and he seemed a very nice chap. Sometimes he gave me his table samples so he wouldn't have to carry them home! What our guest says is disappointing, if true.

They are notorious for not paying correct royalties so maybe Ronnie Simpson has cut and ran. I am with holding my name for obvious reasons.

Those are two pages on the same site, Jim, and the latest "News" was posted in 2002. So it's inconclusive, although SOMEONE must be paying to maintain the server space...

Does anyone know what is happening at Lismor Recordings in Glasgow. Their number is unobtainable and I did read somewhere that they have gone down. Any information gratefully received
