I don't think there were any more worrds (Sorry, freudian slip, I've heard it attributed to Burns!)
Our version had 'The plum tree never bore no fruit'

Does anyone know the full lyrics of the above.   I remember my father singing:
"There was an old man from Donaghadee,
And out of his bum there grew a plum tree.
The people refused to eat of the fruit,
Because it came out of a dirty old root."

Can anyone please supply the rest of the lyrics?
