Tell you? I think you'll be able to hear the screams of delight from Hastings to Inverness when they arrive.

The pressing company said they'll ring us daily (I think they sense our anticipation!).

All of which probably looks very sad to more experienced hands, and I am sure the second one will not be any near as much fun.

Thanks Sarah. The gig went very well. The sound man, Martin, at the Rotherham Arts Centre does a fantastic job in a very difficult room. I'm pleased I can stand aside on these events!

Julie's performance benefited from being on a bit of a high having (finally!) sent off the CD for pressing this week. As those on her mailing list know, we had to wait until our new studio gear was operational to finish the mastering, but we are both very happy with the result.

Things are on a roll. There is still a chance that the girl will be an overnight success ;-)

Just a reminder of tonights gig at Rotherham Arts Centre (Wed 12th May 2004).

This is being billed as a "preview" of Julie's debut solo CD, "At Last", which went to press yesterday.   Should be on sale in two weeks time.

Just a reminder that Julie Ellison is appearing at Cromer's Folk on the Pier festival this weekend and Rotherham Arts Centre next Wednesday.

Performances at Cromer will be on Friday 7th (tomorrow!) in the Main Marquee and the Real Ale Marquee. She will also be running a guitar workshop on Saturday 8th (which runs from 11:00am to 1:30pm so you should get a lot done!).

Rotherham Arts Centre are putting on a performance - which special guest Karen Mulcahey - at 8pm, preceeded by a guitar workshop which starts at 6pm. Tickets are available from the arts centre box office
