Just thought I'd bring to the attention of Mudcatters a great music club/workshop every Monday 20:15hrs - 10:45hrs at Mycenae House, Mycenae Road, Blackheath London SE3. Mainly a jazz theme some excellent professional musicians who warmly welcome beginners and amateurs. I've even heard traditional folk songs perfomed with jazz musicians backing - awesome. There's a reasonably cheap bar open from 19:00hrs. If you look up mycenae road on streetmap or multimap it's the building marked "comm centre" next to "Art gallery". It's an old converted convent you can even sit out in the gardens during the summer evenings and just listen to the music wafting through the air.
