loads of people will be there, singers, musicians, dancers etc from all over the world, Iraq, Kurdistan, Afganistan, Zimbabwe , Africa etc,
it will be really good, and its free, so go if you can.

And, jOhn tells me that Nahro the Iraqui Kurd will be playing. This guy is fabulous. Go see him if you have a chance.

Well Ted, you can have a dose of world music by coming to see EthnoEngland perform at the Memorial Hall on 18th June, as part of the line up of the Beverley Music Festival. They share the bill with Last Night's Fun, so something for everyone. Today is the first day of the Ethno camp and we have witnessed some AMAZING performances.
We have Zimbaweans who can sing dance and play with the most amazing rythomn and Serbians with voices to die for. Come and give us a look see.

Good luck with it Greg.

Hull Council is one of the richest in the country, after they sold half of the council owned phone company, [not sure how much they got for it, but it was a lot],
they built a football stadium [KC Stadium], for £43 million pounds, put dubble glazing in all the council houses, built a stupid fountain thing on Ferensway, [that doesent work anymore], and loads of stuff like that.

Lucky old Hull. I tried to get some funding to organise something similar in Stoke, it being World Refugee Week, but no luck. We're having a party for refugees anyway, with music, but no budget alas!

Queens Gardens, Hull, Starts about 12 dinnertime, goes on all day, and it's free, it's paid for by Hull City Council Music Fund, in conjunction with Hull Refugge and Asylum seekers Group, there will be music and dancing from all over the world.

Queens Gardens is the big public park type thing, right in the centre of Hull, no bar, but there is a cafe nearby, selling drinks snacks and ice creams etc.
