I went to school in Edgbaston for about six weeks after passing the eleven plus . If I still lived in Brum I would be there like a shot ,
but I dont and we are in Southampton on Saturday afternoon so there just isnt enough time . Les is SO funny !

Wild Rover who is offline for a few days has asked me to remind you people from near Birmingham that you can exercise your senses of humour (you have to have a sense of humour to live there) at a truly wonderful event this very Friday with the amazing knickerwettingly funny Les Barker in aid of the wonderful charity British Computer Association of the Blind.

Normally Les Barker concerts sell out practically instantly. But there are still some tickets left.

If you saw the Mrs Ackroyd Band at Ely you know what to expect. The best british humourist writing today.

Official details: -

> If you're going to see sight village
> be sure to buy some tickets when you're there.
> For those who come to see Sight Village;
> Suppertime will be a laugh-in there.
>
> When: Friday 16 July 7.30 PM
> Where: Clarendon Suites, Edgbaston, new home of Sight Village;
> Who: Les Barker in concert for BCAB with support acts including Ryan Kelly
> from the Archers cast list (now ya has Jazzer)
