(I did find a jazz keyboardist named Neil Loughran.) I was unable to find any information about a song called CHATHAM STREET. However, Chatham Street is mentioned in some versions of the song NEW YORK GIRLS: "As I walked out on —— Street..." |

Does anyone have the lyrics for this "misfortune song"? The first verse goes something like this: "Kind friends oh will you listen I will sing to you a song and if you pay attention sure I won't attain you long I come from céili? the other day And I saved a fifty pounds And my friends all were expecting me that night in Eyrie? town."
