Try

http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/FindTune.html

This is a phenomenal resource containing thousands of tunes in many versions and keys. The great thing is that every tune is available in the following formats:

ABC TXT PS EPS PDF PNG GIF MIDI

MIDI will play the tunes if you can't read music. Looking at the dots, while listening to the MIDI will teach you how to read music.

Sorry. Try this instead.

Google

"morrison's jig", penny whistle

It is the 9th or 10th site down the page. The site is entitled "Randy Bachman Home Page."

There is a sound bite there along with another name.

Hope that helps. If I could do a link, I would.

Is there another name for Morrisons Jig? I've tried to find it on other music sites without luck. I have the first part of the tune down well on the whistle but can't for the life of me remember the second or third (if there is one) part. I don't read music so if anyone knows of a site that actually diagrams the fingering I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance Den.
