You could probably get information on how to contact him from Dale. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Fiddle Tune by Fate Morrison 'Sherwo From: GUEST,Dale Date: 12 Sep 04 - 06:14 AM OK, Fiddler434, I can't even make a good guess as to who you might be, but from some of the requests you have made, I figure you are probably from somewhere in the Mountain View, AR area. I don't normally look at it with any regularity, but if you will write to my hotmail account, dale8r@hotmail.com, and identify yourself, I will see if I can do something for you as far as hearing it is concerned, though I can't promise. Fate recorded this at least five times that I am aware of. I don't know that anyone has ever made a midi of it though. Alternately, it is also featured on an excellent album, Call Your Dogs by Jim and Kim Lansford of Southern Missouri. I don't know of any other recordings at the moment. I see that Camsco carries some of the Lansfords' music, so I suspect that Dick could get that one, too. If not, then I think you can likely get it from the Lansfords at: Jim & Kim Lansford, 521 First Street, Galena, MO 65656 |
