Some of the most surprising (folk) albums are valuable (including many of the 'Bulmerised' ones)

Bob. Can I suggest that you go onto the Ebay auction site and try the Ebay SEARCH for some or all of your records to see if they are of value. Some collectors pay high prices for the older ones and you don't want to sell them short. Best wishes.

Way to go, Bob! I am appalled at just how lazy I am myself about playing my LP's. But with so much available now in the way of copying type electronics, surely somebody can turn these treasures into CD's for whoever ends up with them.

I'll bet a certain Mudcatter who lost her entire collection to a housefire would be interested in some of them, too.

Thanks, so much, Bob, for supporting the Mudcat.

Bob, you are heroic in your devotion to this village, and I want to start by saying thanks for what you do to help.

I believe that there are many of us that would be interested in these gems. I know that I certainly am.

All the best,

Mick

I guess I didn't make it clear: I, for one, might well be interested if there were the right LPs of the right folk type singers. Despite having to play them one at a time.

Depends, of course, on what LPs they are, of what artists and what contents.

And if you are offering them in definable "packages" of a number of LPs, or whether they are one at a time.

And what condition you can assert they are in.

Unfortunately, many of us now have no way to play LPs. I do, but there's no changer, and inertia being what it is, I seldom play many of my extensive collection. Playing a single LP at a time is a drag.

Some of you may have noticed that for the past several months I have been auctioning off my folk music book collection, for the benifit of MC. I now am looking at several yards of book shelves that contain hundreds of vynal records. These span the era of the 50's to the 80's. Most of these are in very good condition, complete with enclosed notes. Question: do you think there would be much interest in these if I started auctioning them off, again for the benifit of MC? Thanks, Bob(deckman)Nelson
