In the filmography notes of Hugh Fordin's book "The World of Entertainment" he mentions the following in relation to the ballet in the movie "An American in Paris": "...includes seven "La Sorella" based on excerpts from "Los Inocentes" (Estelles, Belgado, Silva, Gillini) four bars each in length."
I have searched for these items individually and in combination with one another and can't find any info whatsoever. The closest I can come is the sorella La Matchiche (Fordin doesn't even mention this one) which Mudcat participants have gone into with great detail. Does anyone have a clue about these items? I called Fordin direct but he doesn't remember anything about them.
