I am sorry I didn't mention it - I struggle to keep the varied and disparate threads of my life running in parallel and it completely slipped my mind. I will be dashing back from North Wales with a hangover on sunday morning having climbed the north face of Tryfan. The cod will have to wait for a weekend. Do come on sunday evening - it would be good to see you there. Say hi to everyone in Farlington tomorrow night - I am sorry that I won't be there.

SHIFTY PIG

Sunday 26th Sept
Pocklington Arts Centre. 8pm

We are playing as part of the "acoustic evening" - our first Gig in this line up - featuring the talented Heather and Hannah on flutes, whistles and cello, who delighted the crowds in the Big Session at the Six Bells in Barrow upon Humber recently. Supporting Heather and Hannah is Peter on cittern, Jim on guitar, Patrick on Bodhran, Liz on low whistle, high wistle and uilleann pipes and me on fiddle.

Will will be playing jigs, reels and songs and may even have some Irish dancers with us!
