I don't watch new shows all that often on network tv, but the tail end of ABC's new show, LOST, was on tonight and I caught a beautiful song on it. Acoustic guitar and a bluesy/folksy/bluegrassy kind of fellah's voice. Searching the show's message boards, I found it was "Washed Away" by Joe Purdy.

His website is down at the moment, www.joepurdy, but you can hear samples of some of his other songs at CDBaby. Well worth the listen, imo. I esp. like the one called "Trouble."

Enjoy and I'd love to hear if any of you know more about this artist.
