Its here and I have lots of CD's to sell for an excellent charity.
Any folk club that would like X amount of CD's, can they please pm me with details
Many thanks to all artists who donated the songs, and all the people who worked in the background to make this happen.

Tom Lane, Folk Presenter, BBC Radio Lincolnshire comments

This charity CD, featuring some of Lincolnshire's best and most respected folk performers, is the brainchild of Les Worrall, organiser of the Market Rasen Folk Club. Les asked me if I thought it a good idea to put together an album featuring some of the county's best artistes and could I, as someone who has been around the scene for a while, suggest a few likely names. Well, as it happened, I could name many, many Lincolnshire based singers, musicians and songwriters who are worthy of inclusion on such an album - many more than we could possibly fit in. To those whom we could not include on this album we apologise and thank you kindly for the offer. To those who have agreed to donate songs and tunes, we thank you for your contributions given so generously and for your talent. All proceeds from the CD are destined for the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Go For Gold Appeal, which this year provides funds for poorly children to visit Lapland to see Father Christmas.
Lincolnshire has been at the forefront of folk music since before the song collecting visits to the county by Percy Grainger who 'discovered' the quintessential Lincolnshire folk singer, Joseph Taylor and many more of his fine contemporaries. Later on bands such as Grimsby's 'Broadside' were at the very forefront of the folk revival. Today the song collecting tradition is continued by Lincolnshire's 'Mr Folk', Brian Dawson. Lincolnshire tunes and traditions are both collected and performed in schools within the county and beyond by the ever-youthful Liam Robinson. Wootton Fiddle Club, under the guidance of Carol Dawson and others, has brought to the fore a talented crop of fiddle players in the north of the county (not least the award winning Rosie and Lucy Coggle). In citing just a few of the many positive contributions to the current Lincolnshire folk scene perhaps we could even mention our own 'BBC Radio Lincolnshire Write a Lincolnshire Folk Song Competition', now in its twelfth year and hopefully continuing to serve as an impetus to the county's many new and established song writers (a number of songs on this album started life as entries for this very competition).
Included then is a mixture of the experienced and well-known old hands such as John Connelly and Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher, well known young hands like Miranda Sykes and the up and coming new generation such as Rosie and Lucy Coggle. It's a little piece of Lincolnshire that we're confident you will enjoy – and every album sold is producing funds for an excellent cause.

Many people freely gave their time and talent in the making of the album. All the tracks were kindly donated by the artistes. Mike of NAP Music, Washingborough, Lincoln, did all the technical stuff to turn the individual tracks into an album. Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire contributed the typesetting (by Susan Unsworth). From BBC Radio Lincolnshire Nick Wilmshurst, Andrew David and Maureen Townend gave time and skills. Finally, for all the artistes, the beautiful county of Lincolnshire has proved to be both home and inspiration. Each of us is 'proud to be a yellowbelly'.
