I was in a pub called the Beal Bocht( poor mouth ) the day that baby sands died ..and that song was being sung in the pub.obviously ready fiready for his death.I just just remember the lines ,like you,Gentle blows the barley.....baby sandy will we ever see your likes again.

There is a song I have heard many times but have never caught the full lyrics to; it is about Bobby Sands (who figures in some other current threads) and the chorus is
Gentle blows the barley, dancing in the wind,
It's summer, and ........
Gentle blows the barley, ........
Oh, Bobby Sands, we'll never see the likes of you again.
Anyone know it?
