Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: Strollin' Johnny Date: 22 Oct 04 - 05:10 AM We had a power-cut too but we were on our way back from Brum, and it was back on when we got home, so we didn't care. Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: GUEST,BusyBee Paul at Work Date: 21 Oct 04 - 06:27 AM GS - The police have a wheelie nice place for keeping naughty cars! More seriously though, in the run up to Christmas and all that blatant, rampant consumerism, it's the idiots who leave all their shopping in full view in their cars who make the crime figures soar. The true spirit of the season gets lost in amongst all the hype. Having your car broken into isn't fun as I know from experience and is even more galling when there was nothing taken because it was empty anyway!. You'll have to learn not to get me on my high horse!. D PS: Had to get out of my Lincolnshire bed early this morning to attend a meeting at the local Police Station (just trying to get this thread back on track!). |
Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: GUEST,KJ Date: 21 Oct 04 - 06:25 AM Do you not realise Les that beds are designed for other activities not just sleeping. Mind you so is the kitchen table, the washing machine ooooooooooooh, the stairs, the bath!!! etc etc etc. Sleeping is last on my list of pleasures!! |
Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: Dave Bryant Date: 21 Oct 04 - 05:57 AM I find that rough shagging tends to keep me awake ! |
Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: Paco Rabanne Date: 21 Oct 04 - 05:27 AM Sleeping tip number 73:- 1) Don your favourite smoking jacket. 2) Fill your pipe with St Bruno rough shag. 3) settle down with a copy of mountain bike rider 4) Light pipe, inhale deeply, fall asleep. Simple really. St Bruno, the true path. |
Subject: RE: Have all Lincolnshire people gone to bed From: Georgiansilver Date: 21 Oct 04 - 05:08 AM How long have cars been committing crime then??? What do they do??? Do they have a special "Garage prison" for them? Best wishes. |
