When friendships fail and dark despair surrounds me
And loneliness engulfs and drags me down

The clouds disperse. There's sunshine all around

        You are my world my love and all I live for
        You are my breath the reason that I be
        My very soul and all I'd surely give for
        A moment more to have you here with me

If others scorn and mock and thus berate me
And I feel small, unable to go on.
You smile and say you never will forsake me.
The sun comes up and I can face the dawn.

When courage ebbs and challenge it confronts me
And strength gives out and failures face I see
I think of you and how your love surrounds me
Then I am king. All's possible to me.
