poof... can you give any sort of a style of music to help us along? rock, folk, gypsy, rap, gregorian chant? did it seem to be a current song, or is this from a station that plays older/classic music selections?

hello all I am trying too find a tune I heard on saturday night the 18th on my local radio station 91.9 WUMB. anyways i heard this one really good song and I didnt catch the name of it before I got out of the car. i have a few lyrics from it. hope someone can please help. here are the lyrics.
