"Now, could anyone come up with a suggestion for the digeridoo my brother gave my husband a couple of Christmases ago?"

Being an Aussie, I doubt if I could say anything that would not be deleted....

Depending on your known pickin' skills, I would say your friends must have either good taste, or bad souvenir-hunting habits when on vacation. Assuming it's the former, what a neat present!

Now, could anyone come up with a suggestion for the digeridoo my brother gave my husband a couple of Christmases ago? Edmund does not now and is never likely to play the digeridoo: we're Canadians, for Gawdsake, and too set in our ways to start an alternative rock band.

Sort of spoils the alpaca baglama pun if you pronounce it that way.
Giok

No Catspaw, you ignorant turd, it's pronounced bay-GLAMMA. Comes with rhinestones, leopard print spandex and maribou. It's only played in Tampa by retirees from New Jersey.

Sheesh, and I thought you were smart.

It's not the ass that's the problem. It's the llamas. They keep humping the furniture and crapping everywhere.

Well, i don't know anything at all really...tuning would be a good start. I tuned it so it sounds not too bad, but i don't know how it's meant to sound...same goes for playing :0)

What do you need to know about the instrument? How to tune it? How to play it? Could you be just a bit more specific, BI? It will help those who help you. That's the extent of my knowledge about it, other than it is sometimes called a Baby Bouzouki I think.
