It turns out there is a chance I can go if I can arrange a ride from Portland. Is there still space? It is Easter Sunday that day...I suppose I can get to mass in the evening.. mg

More info re Singtime Frolics 2005:

Singtime Frolics is fast approaching!
The very last date to Register is March 9th!!
A registration form is on the website at http://www.portlandfolklore.org/

Singtime Frolics is Portland Folklore Society's annual weekend music retreat - this year, March 25-27th. Deep in the woods at beautiful Camp Adams (near Molalla, OR), we feature wall-to-wall music that begins on Friday evening and ends, sleepy-eyed, in the early afternoon on Sunday. There will also be space and time for singing, dancing, instrumental jamming and for hiking forest trails around the camp.

Featured guest artist Mary Flower, has been one of America's finest blues and roots music performers - she was prizewinner at the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship in 2000 — the second woman in 27 years to place in the top three!   Mary will present two workshops at camp: "Blues Repertoire – Mary's Favorite Roots Songs" and one on arranging/accompanying songs in open tuning on guitar (website www.maryflower.com).

Workshops on roots music, ukelele, sea chanties, and a Chautauqua style performance on Mother Jones are already booked, plus a workshop by Dick Holdstock on songs of Merritt Herring. Plan to come now!!!

Thanks for the update, Mary Ann. (And so sorry I have to miss y'all this year.) :-(

But, yes, do contact Meryle or Bonnie Messinger or someone else at PFS if you can come. There are always last minute modifications.

It's a great weekend!

Just a reminder that Singtime Frolics (I almost typed "Sintime," but I caught myself - LOL) is happening March 25-27 at Camp Adams, near Portland, OR.

This is a wonderful, fun, homey music camp with late night jams, workshops, and all sorts of great "harmony" happening!

I DK it it's too late for normal sign-up, but I'm curious who's going, and I believe the rest of y'all can still come if you're interested.

Meryle Korn is the person to contact. Or Portland Folklore Society. I think that's pfs.org - but I'm not sure.

Our own David Ingerson can also tell you more about Singtime and PFS,

Genie
