Subject: Wickersley (UK) Festival From: Sooz Date: 05 Mar 05 - 01:19 PM Well, we've just driven home (in the snow again) from Wickersley after a fine afternoon of great music. Things got off to a slow start (perhaps people were put off by the weather) but by the time Julie Ellison did her spot their was a very appreciative audience. They were treated to some excellent songs beautifully presented. BUT what about the dark horse of the festival? Who you ask? Mudcatter John Robinson (ne Cittern) gave us some fine songs after hiding his light under a bushel for all the time we've known him. Lets have MORE! |
