We would think the whole audience enjoyed last night Strollin'. It really was a spectacular performance both music and dance. We certainly would go and see them again!

Keep music live..TA

Damhsa were absoutely STUNNING last night at the Castle Hills Community Arts College, Gainsborough! Great music, fantastic dancing, what a performance. And very much in the traditional style - not at all Riverdance. Fabulous - it was a privilege to see and hear them. My smile met somewhere round the back of my head all night, and it's still there this morning! :0)

An the great bonus was the reaction of the young people (12 - 16 year-olds) in the audience, of which there were many. Whoops, hollers, screams and thunderous applause from youngsters who seldom see or hear anything other than discos, Coldplay and Gareth Feckin' Gates. The band and dancers held an afternoon workshop in the college, and it's reported by some of the teachers that the sound of chins hitting the young chests of the students as the dancers appeared was clearly audible!

It was stirring stuff, real hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck-raising, and a wonderful happy evening. If Damhsa are playing near you, get out and see them - you won't be disappointed.
