Subject: Happy B-Day Muddy Waters

I realize it's kinda late in the day to bring this up, but today, April 4, is the birth date of McKinley Morganfield, better known as Muddy Waters. All MUD-catters should pause for a moment in recognition of the greatest mud-man of them all.
I only learned this fact a few minutes ago, right at 7pm Central time, when DJ Gentilly Junior came on the air for his weekly Monday evening blues program on WWOZ, and announced that it would be an all-Muddy evening, in recognition of the anniversary of his birth.
Gentilly hosts this "Mudfest" program every year (for the last 24 years!) on the Monday closest to the fourth ~ this year, his weekly program is on the actual date.
