Thank you for running a session Lynne, luverly job.
Next year will be the 7th 8th and 9th, the first full wekend in July.
I certainly had a whale of a time thanks to all the people who came and made it work so well.
The harmonies sounded fantastic from outside the hall.
The beer was like nectar, the best brew of Harverys I've tasted in a long time.... THANKS IAN
Only 52 weeks to go!

Yes, it really was a good weekend - I really did enjoy it, even the rain on Friday night. It was a lovely atmosphere and the singing and playing just took off.

Thanks to Liz, Mary, Ian and anyone else involved in the hard work. What date is next year's?

Lynne

What a Fabulous Festival!

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend, including the 2 1/2 hour walk through beautiful countryside with fellow Folkies. Excellent music & singing with decent beer & good company.

Many thanks to Vectis & all the Organisers of Travelling Folk. I shall definitely want to come along next year :-)

In the meantime I may try to get to one or two of the Travelling Folk Roving Sessions

I know you Martin (from Fox & Hounds & Donkey), but unfortunately I won't be there - I'll be singing at Portsmouth with the Shellbacks.

But if Liz and Mary are running it, it's sure to be good. Hopefully next year

Go on then give us a clue.

Do you mean I know you but not your Mudcat handle or will you be about the only person there that I have not met before?

Doesn't matter either way really it will still be a great weekend.

Dave Earl
