One more site. Tell ya what, go to Google, type in India, then scroll to bottom of page and click Search Within Results....then type in "folk songs"

I love American Indian music but it's NOT what I am looking for on this occasion.

I'm seeking Asian Indian songs dance tunes, nursery rhymes, . My freind is 11 years old and his brother is 16.

They both play musical instruments. We've tried played playing some Bollywood tunes but they are soooooo difficult.

I've found the Indian National Anthem for them so far and they can both play that.

But there must be some Indian traditional songs, childrens songs, festival songs etc.

East Indian or American Indian?

If American, Natalie Curtis, "The Indian's Book," has sheet music for 200, organized by tribe, and giving background information.

This book, reprinted by Bonanza, is available in many libraries.

Anyone know where I could obtain some Indian folk songs or dance tunes, preferably in midi file format, but abc would do.
