Subject: RE: Rescue me....(San Francisco) From: michaelr Date: 21 Jun 05 - 07:02 PM I am tired of strumming by myself... Am I correct in inferring you play the guitar? What instruments are you looking for, and what kind of music do you want to make, specifically (trad or singer/songwriter, bluegrass, old-time, Celtic, klezmer...)? Cheers, Michael |

Subject: Rescue me....from pop music From: GUEST,Sarah Date: 21 Jun 05 - 11:57 AM AAAAAARGH Howdy all-knowing mudcatters....I am trying to hook up with other folksters in my area (San Francisco Bay) to form a folky band/group. I've tried cragislist but that's mainly rock/punk/new wave teenagers. What's a singer to do? I am tired of strumming by myself at the local coffee shop....and I'm also sick of being in a pop band where I'm expected to belt everything at the top of my lungs..... |
