Subject: RE: Maybe the BBC is listening (a little) From: GUEST Date: 03 Jul 05 - 06:05 PM Two months ago, in fact - it appeared over the May Day weekend, and was commented on in Mudcat, but I haven't seen it since. They probably used a concertina because it is 'prettier' than a melodeon, but that doesn't mean they don't know the difference. There was nothing to say they thought it was a melodeon and some Morris musicians do use concertinas. |

Subject: Maybe the BBC is listening (a little) From: GUEST,pippingo Date: 03 Jul 05 - 10:43 AM A good few months ago there was athread about the bbc dance segments inbetween shows- lamenting the lack of morris/british dance. I have spotted a sequence for BBC2 which had robot number 2's morris dancing. Has anyone else seen it? |
