Maybe not at a folk club, but it would probably work at our local Open Sings. I suspect several people around here (me included) would sing along, at least on the "amorous butterfly" part.... The D.C. area is GREAT for music! Once at our Getaway a friend said, "This place is like a musical comedy; no matter what you start to sing, a bunch of people gather round to join in on the chorus."

Although I'm a Soprano, I would certainly be happy to sing "Non piu Andrai" if you can find me an accompanist for me who plays chromatic bagpipes! In fact, let's make it a sing-a-long. Everybody knows all the arias from the "nose" of Figaro.
