I have the songbook - missing a back cover. Original price $0.15, but I think I gave them about $1.00 for it at an antique shop in Blackwell OK a year or two ago. I couldn't find the mate: Red Hot Democratic Songs for 1888 that's advertised on the inside cover.

I think I posted a table of contents in the "Toot Toot Tootsie" tune req thread a couple of days ago, and chico asked for a handful of them.

I've scanned the whole book now, but the full thing is about 12.2 MB as scanned - more than most email services will allow. I could cut the dpi a bit and probably get them in a couple of emails if you want to PM an email addy. I've got a few more to transcribe for chico. Don't know when I'll get around to it, but I should be dribbling another 4 or 5 in as Lyr Adds.

Are you the lucky possessor of an original of this? I couldn't find it at American Memory. Entering Republican in category 'Music' brings up a bunch of them, however.
Of interest to me because I have some 19th c. family correspondence that discusses politics; my paternal great grandfather and grandfather and their families were rabid Republicans.

Final "Two cents" solo bass, descending C to F, dotted quarters.
Chords picked from score, and not verified by playing.
Most solo lines are a simple "c F G a b c F"
Choral responses are mostly fixed monotone – like a shout?
