I was trying to remember a coffee shop in Philly that I used to frequent in the 60s.

I think it was east of the Schuylkill River on Sansom St. Anyways it was across the street from a bar/nightclub called "Little Johnnie's" (which was run by the guy who used to be dressed as a bellhop and would say "Call for Phillip Morris" in the ads.)

It was by far the best one in town for folk music. One other hint. It wasn't the "Guilded Cage". That was a good coffee shop; but not so much for folk music.

Murray
