Horses Brawl Album Launch 22.10.05 at Blackfriars Hall, Norwich.

Horses Brawl an exciting instrumental trio based in Norwich, will be launching their new self-titled album on Saturday 22nd October 2005 at Norwich's Blackfriars Hall. The trio who formed in January 2003 have been receiving a lot of positive attention over the past couple of years for their inventive instrumental techniques and have performed all over England at festivals and concerts as well as receiving airplay on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Norfolk.

The trio perform on traditional and modern instruments with unusual techniques including playing the cello with a capo and hitting the strings with a tin, playing guitar with a double bass bow and wrapping a fiddle bow around the fiddle. The new album will be available to buy at the launch and then from Prelude Records in Norwich as well as other shops in the UK.

Horses Brawl are Laura Cannell on Fiddle, Recorders and Crumhorns, Adrian Lever on Guitar and Jonathan Manton on Cello. The Launch is followed by a tour to include, the Fiddlers Elbow – Camden 30.10.05, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival 24.11.05, The New Cut Arts Centre 25.11.05 and Norwich Arts Centre 30.11.05.

Performing highlights in 2005 have included The National Portrait Gallery, BBC Coast, The Windsor Festival, The Broadside Festival and The Norwich Fringe Festival.
