Subject: RE: Music shops in NW Washington From: Charlie Baum Date: 23 Oct 05 - 11:02 AM The House of Musical Traditions (http://www.hmtrad.com/) is in Takoma Park, next to Washington, DC, an easy ride on the Red LIne Metro to Takoma, and then a short (less-than-10-minute walk) from the Metro. --Charlie Baum Title of thread altered to make it clear which Washington was meant. |

Subject: RE: Music shops in NW Washington From: Stewart Date: 22 Oct 05 - 12:21 PM Well, here I am. If you mean Washington State somewhere near Seattle you have to visit Dusty Strings. They're in the Fremont neighborhood just north of downtown. They have a complete selection of acoustic instruments, very helpful and knowledgeable sales people, also CDs and music - a place not to miss. You might also try The Trading Musician for used instruments and electronic gear. Cheers, S. in Seattle |
