Not so much Irish music publishers, I suspect, as Americans who think that everything not American is probably Irish. Watch out though, you lot; point out a few more of the ridiculous mis-attributions in the DT and you'll be getting anonymous messages accusing you of being a "begrudger" or an "anti-gael".

There was a theme folknight' thread doing the rounds lately -- we had a 'Cockney' night a couple of years back here in Canada with all these old favourites 'done.' It turned out much better than I anticipated (I did Ian Dury's 'Clever Bastards' ... bet yer grannie wouldn't have allowed that one, Mo!)

Thats the one, though I never sang more than the chorus to my children.
