You might try looking for the playlist of the station on which you heard the song, they are often posted on the internet, if not try phoning the station.

Hmmmm. I take it that it's a song against the Bomb, maybe lamenting "mushrooms in White Sands." Can't find anything but this which is a friendlier kind of mushrooms.

I heard a folk song on the radio this last weekend and the only lyrics I remember from the song was "mushrooms in white sand". It was a beautiful song, and a man singing it. Any one have any ideas what song it was that I heard?
