Subject: Lyr Req: wind of God blow Jonah from the belly From: GUEST Date: 03 Dec 05 - 09:57 PM I have a cassette copy of an old reel-to-reel recording of folk songs my father made from radio broadcasts in the 1960s, mostly when listening to Les Claypool. (He made a recording of Les Claypool's on-air resignation speech which is pretty interesting to listen to as well.) Anyhow, only snippets of this song are intelligible and I was wondering if anyone could identify the song and perhaps provide the full lyrics: .. wise men don't pay no mind when the wind begins to fail; wise men know the wind of God blow Jonah from the belly of a whale. I searched for various phrases of this in the DT but didn't come up with anything. Thanks for any help/leads. -- Glen |
