I've been to Live from the Livingroom a few times. Definitely worth whatever you have to put off to attend a show.

Actually I was very close last week. Spent 5 days in the London Ontario area. A bout 2 hours from the "Big Joe". I almost said the "Olympia".

I'll be back up in the Detroit area in March - I'm booked throughout St. Patrick's Day week - and I'm looking forward to it. Hope there's some snow then, and with a little luck the Wings will be in town, too. Speaking of the RED WINGS - they beat Pittsburgh tonight by the wonderful score of 3 - 1. Good show guys!

Not that anyone cares, I'm an old "westsider" - grew up around Schoolcraft and Wyoming, an area that is now probably the "hood." Used to catch the Wyoming bus, take it to Grand River, get a nickle transfer and ride the Grand River bus down to Trumbell where we'd walk to Michigan avenue and spend the afternoon in the bleachers at Briggs Stadium watching Al Kaline, Harvey Kuenn, Charlie Maxwell, Norm Cash, Hank Aguirre, Jim Bunning, Don Mossi and Frank Lary play - while listening to Ernie Harwell on the transistor radio, of course.

Don't know if I'll have much time but some open mic's or some song
circles might be nice to get to - anything you can offer up around the Detroit / A2 area I'll tuck away for future reference. Cheers.

Hello fellow Motowners,

Just wanted to be sure everyone within striking distance of Pontiac was aware of "Live From The Livingroom" at the Blue Note Cafe most Friday evenings. It's some great entertainment and shouldn't be missed. Check it out at www.oldfrontporch.com . You won't be sorry, it's a great little venue with some top-notch performers. See ya there some Friday night!
