Re the Getaway, it is the only date we could get this year at the new camp. Re the conflict with NOMAD, .... bummer. Sorry folks. We don't like it either!

FSGW Getaway is November 3 - 6.

Definite Clash. In the past, the Getaway has conflicted with the Pinewoods event. Too bad. I was looking forward to both.

Hi Folks,

The NOMAD festival of Traditional Music, Art and Dance, happening in Connecticut this year on Nov. 3-5, needs to redesign its web site. We have a webmaster and we have pretty much all the information we want on the site, but we need a volunteer who can come up with a more attractive and easily navigable format and perhaps add some graphics.

The idea is for the new volunteer to redesign the site, or at least put a new design into electronic format and submit it to our webmaster who would then maintain it on an ongoing basis.

Anyone interested in helping us out, especially if you live in Connecticut or nearby NY, MA or RI. please pm me. You will be helping a popular regional festival of traditional music and dance.
