Subject: Songs to INclude? From: Kaleea Date: 07 Mar 06 - 07:41 PM I've been asked to play/sing for an event at a local bar. The young gal coordinating the event wants Celtic Music, although she has heard me doing a mix of genres-I think she thought it was all "Celtic." While there will undoubtedly be some older folks, this is in a happenin' area where lots of young people live & frequent. I'm scheduled for an hour about midway through the evening. Since most of the other entertainers will likely have Guitars, I will take at least a couple of my more unusual instruments such as Autoharp & Mountain Dulcimer & play instrumentals as well as sing. Any suggestions as to songs which would entertain all & be less likely to bore the kids? Thanks! |
