Hey, I just want to say thanks to HarriWatts for hosting the new Music Exchange nights at the Dorchester. We need nights like these as an alternative to the 'indie' scene in Hull at the moment, which tends to dominate the music scene.

There could be a whole new acoustic scene emerging and I would like to help promote that, so please send us your info about gigs etc and we will put them up.

Cracktown said the same thing about this scene, they have moved their Thursday open mic night from the George pub to Zest cafe bar on Newland Ave, on Sunday evenings. I went last Sunday and it was miles better, atmosphere and venue.
